Sell it — the record keeps itself.
A walkthrough of the Shop — ringing up sales on a till that knows firearms, checking certificates at the point of sale, and letting every sale file itself straight into your register.
The till
Ring up everything from one screen — a firearm, ammunition by the box, and accessories. The till knows what it's selling, so a firearm carries its record and ammo counts down your stock automatically.
Certificate checked at the point of sale
Select the customer and RFD checks their FAC or SGC live — is it valid, does it cover this firearm, has it expired? A green tick means you're clear to sell; anything wrong is flagged before the sale can complete.
Take payment
Choose how they paid — cash, card, on account, or a split — and complete the sale. RFD records the tender and the totals, VAT included, and issues a receipt.
It files itself into the register
This is the point: a firearm sold at the till disposes itself in your bound book, and the Form 11 goes to the force — automatically. The sale and the record are one action, so you never key it twice.
Sales history & invoices
Every sale is saved. Find any transaction by date, customer or reference, re-print a receipt, or raise a formal VAT invoice — ready for the customer or their accountant.
Products & inventory
Keep your accessories and consumables in order — prices, stock levels and low-stock flags — so the till always has what it needs and your shelves never run dry unnoticed.
